Chicken Tapanade Sandwiches

green olives, chopped

garlic clove, chopped
2 tbs
capers
1 tbs
lemon peel, grated
3 tbs
olive oil
4 tbs
lemon juice
1 lb
deli roast chicken

rolls, halved sandwich


  • Chop olives and garlic, and put in a bowl with capers and lemon peel.
  • Combine olive oil and lemon juice and pour over olive mixture.
  • Stir in salt and pepper.
  • Spread bottom halves of rolls with olive mixture, leaving some of juices in bowl.
  • Top with slices of chicken breast.
  • Brush remaining juices over inside of top halves of rolls.
