MealMixer HELP
Quick Search

As you select recipe attributes (drop downs, radio buttons and check boxes) in the form at the top of the scren, the list of recipes displayed in the Recipe List is narrowed. The attributes that you can select from are also narrowed. De-selecting attributes broadens the attributes you can select and the number of recipes in the Recipe List.

Edit

Example

To find a chicken soup recipe select the 'Soup' radio button and the 'Chicken / Poultry' checkbox.

  • To search for a recipe by title, or by specific ingredients, use the search text box (select the appropriate radio button).
  • Use the New Search link to turn off all attributes and start over
  • Dieters: Check 'Fits Within Diet'. This will ensure that the recipes shown will not exceed your diet goals for the displayed meal (show on the left hand side of the page).
  • Click the arrows under Title, Calories, etc., to sort the list.
  • highlighted numbers in the list mean that a serving of the recipe will significantly exceed your goal for that nutrient given what is already on the meal. We allow fat, protein and carbohydrates to be 25% above your goal for the meal because we assume that, over the week, some meals will exceed your goal while others will not meet your goal, which will average out to a to meet your goal.
  • Recipes marked with a ↓ we don't believe you would like.

Once you've found a recipe in a list, you can add to your menu
