Adding an Item Substitution

1. Select the item (from the 'Current Substitutions' or 'Needed Substitutions' list) for which you want to substitute a new item.
2. If you item already exists in MealMixer's database (because we have already added it or you have), search for it in the 'Create Substitution' form.
   • If it does not exist, add it using the 'Add New Item' link, then search for it using the 'Create Substitution' form
3. Select the item in 'Create Substitution' drop-down list, and fill in the remaining fields (usually items are replaced 1-for-1).
4. Add any additional notes about use of the item as a substitution, then click 'Add'
5. Now select the item in the top drop-down. This step is necessary as it tells us that this is the substitution that you want for the item, and allows you to change substitutions for an item.
