MealMixer as a GFCF Diet Planner

RSS
MealMixer is easy to use as a GFCF Diet planner for those who suffer from or manage the meals of a loved one with autism.

MealMixer creates custom menus and shopping lists for you that avoid gluten, casein, food dyes, corn, or other foods considered to be unsafe for the GFCF Diet. These menus are also based on your taste in food and nutritional needs, since many autistic children can be in poor health given other physical ailments associated with autism.

This is not only a planner for your child, but for the entire family, because it integrates all of the features of our planner into a comprehensive health planner. You'll quickly and easily plan GFCF safe meals and enjoy better family meals, at the same time. It's as easy as 1-2-3.

GFCF Diet Planning in 3 Easy Steps

1Each week we give you a list of entire meals to select from that don't contain gluten, casein, or other food items you may be testing to see if they are impacting your child's behavior or health. You simply select the meals you're interested in preparing, and how many servings you'll need (we default to your family size, but you can change this). Some of the dishes may only be eaten by your autistic child, while others may be eaten by the entire family. The printed meal plan tells you which foods are GFCF safe and which are not. You may end up eating recipes all by yourself, but that's okay, you need to eat too! You can plan for every meal of the week (all dinners, lunches and breakfasts), or only dinners, etc.

2If necessary, you can change your menu by adding/deleting recipe, items, snacks, etc.; changing serving sizes (for guests or missing family members, etc.). You can create meals and entire menus from scratch that will be archived for re-use (all printed meal plans are archived for you). You can also plan/record what you child ate and share this with your health care provider.

3Print your meal plan. We create a printable plan including:

  • a grocery list (you can add items to make it a complete list)
  • all of the plan recipes scaled to your serving needs
  • the menu for you to follow including the number of servings for you to stay healthy, and the overall servings for your family needs. Any dishes that are not GFCF are marked in red/underlined, telling you not to feed them to your autistic child (but the rest of the family can enjoy them)

If you have other food allergies, you can use this planner to avoid those allergens as well.
