Marianne likes to cook, and finds it quite frustrating that this is a dying art. Somewhat of a control freak, she objects to big business putting things in her food that she cannot pronounce, and feels that may result in 2-headed grand children. Marianne's 2 sons have left the picky stange and entered the omnivorous stage, which is awesome for someone who spends as much time as she does in the kitchen.
Marianne has studied at Madonna Univesity and Eastern Michigan University, and is a humor writer whose eponymous column appeared in Ann Arbor Family Press for 3 years. She was also their restaurant reviewer in search of family friendly restaurants, which furthered her belief that the best meals are those prepared in the home. As a working wife and mother, Marianne is well acquainted with the challenges of getting healthy food in the house and on the table, and keeping the men in her life from drinking straight from the carton.
